The annual Memorial Day Service will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery on Memorial Day, May 27 at 10 AM.

The York Springs Lions Club sponsored event will include the Posting of Colors and a 21-gun salute by the Adams County Allies Veterans Honor Guard. “The National Anthem” and” God Bless America” will be offered by the Bermudian Springs Eagle Singers under the direction of Matt Carlson. A large American flag will be displayed by the York Springs IOOF Lodge #211. This year’s presentation is entitled “Old Ragged Flag at York Springs”.

Local veterans who have passed will be honored and Civil War cannons will be fired. Transportation will be provided by Wolfs Bus Lines to transport attendees to the top of Sunnyside. Bring a chair for your comfort. The service will take place unless a heavy rain is experienced.
