Our annual meeting will be held on March 18th at York Springs Foursquare Church at 400 Main St, the former York Springs High School / Elementary School.

Dr. Karin Bohleke, Director of the Fashion Archives and Museum of Shippensburg University will be our speaker. Her lecture will explore the myths and realities of fashions of the 1920s. Dr. Bohleke “ holds a Ph.D. in French language and literature from Yale University, and also serves as an assistant adjunct professor of French at Shippensburg and Penn State-Mont Alto. She formerly worked at Hood College in Frederick, MD, where she taught French, Russian, Classical Mythology, and Humanities for the graduate school.”

The cost of the meal and program is $17.00 per person. A buffet dinner will be catered by Hughes Meats and Deli. A buffet dinner of stuffed chicken breast with gravy, rice pilaf, California blend, applesauce, rolls, and cherry cheese dessert will be served.

Reservations need to be to Elaine Gilbert by March 8th. The caterer requires confirmation of the number attending in advance. Please make payment in advance. There will be no refunds.
