Museum Open 2-4pm 1st Sunday, except Holidays | Archives Open Wed. 6-8:30pm

Open House & Ribbon Cutting

Join us from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3rd as we celebrate the opening of our new Archives space!

Thanks to the generous support of our community and the committment of YOSSHS members, we have a beautiful new place to house historical artifacts, documents and other treasures.  The museum will be open for tours and we hope you will check out our newest exhibits!

We will also showcase our completed “In Pursuit of Life, Liberty & Happiness” exhibit, the tribute to the 100th anniversary of the York Springs Fire Company, and the moved and downsized “Organization” exhibit.

The highlight will be the opportunity for members and the public to view the completed basement renovations. This space will not typically be open to the public, so this will be your chance to be in the space. Please note that it will not be completely organized, but work will have started to accession and organize the hundreds of artifacts to be located there.
