Quilt Show @ Museum

QUILT SHOW – August 12, 2023 from 8am to 4pm

Highlighting the quilts of York Springs and surrounding area! This quilt show is in conjunction with the Community Celebration for the 155th anniversary of York Springs. It will feature quilts and quilters from York Springs and the surrounding area.

We are currently looking for quilts with an historic connection to the area or the work of current local quilters to feature in our show. If you have such a quilt or know of someone who does, we’d love to talk to you.

We are also looking for craft vendors to complement our event and volunteers to help greet visitors and help with the set-up and take down of the displays. Please call Donna at 528-8691 or Peggie at 528-8516 or contact the Society through our e-mail for more information on the event.

Museum

Our Museum is located at 408 Main Street in York Springs. The entrance is on the upper level and is accessible. Make a sharp left turn after you enter the driveway. We are open each Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the first Sunday of the month from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. except holiday weekends. Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m., except for December, January, July, and August. Our Annual Dinner is held on the third Monday in March and Annual Picnic is held on the third Monday in June.
