First Sunday: “Glory”

To go along with the Stewart Wesley Woods event on September 21st, we will be showing the film “Glory.” The film was first released in December of 1989 (30 years ago). It is the story of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment. The film is based on the personal letters of unit commander Robert Gould Shaw, and the books Lay This Laurel by Lincoln Kirstein and One Gallant Rush by Peter Buchard. Refreshments will be served.
